Piston fillers
They are designed to be easily cleaned for cleaning in place in machines (CIP, SIP).
These pistons are intentionally drawn with simple geometries, without undercut to avoid retentions of products that can cause contamination.
Sideflon®
The materials used for the production of pistons are part of the family Sideflon®, produced exclusively by the PICARD Technologies® group in order to guarantee perfect quality,
optimum mechanical and chemical properties as well as complete traceability. These materials are resistant to steam, cleaning solutions and have a low coefficient of friction.
Two models
Two different models are proposed in this range, a completely close model and models with apparent elastomeric part.
The model will be determined by the nominal diameter of the cylinder and, or, by the application.
In both cases, the piston is simply screwed to the top of a rod which must be perfectly guided.
